My photo goal for Christmas

This year I'm hoping for a good photo of all my grandkids together.  Since my expensive camera broke and I bought a lil camera, most group shots of my grandkids have red or white eyes that are difficult for my photo removal skills.  Theres usually 1 child whose eyes won't do the red eye removal.  Would love a photo for my wall with all of them together.  So thats my end of year goal.  Not an easy task, trying to get a 12 year old, almost 5 year old, 2-1/2 year old and almost 2 year old to sit still long enough by themselves to get a good photo.  Theres always lots of giggles, smiles and laughs but red/white eye does not make a cute photo for the wall.  LOL

New Blog For 2015

Since my blog keeps redirecting to another site, I've decided to start a new one for 2015.   Here is the last traditional lo I created for the 2014 year.  Hopefully, I'll have more mojo to create in 2015, I've been in a slump lately.  Thanks for stopping by.
I love this photo.  My DH had surgery and while recooping at home, our puppy/Pebbles stayed near him the whole time.  Napped with him and followed him everywhere.  I was so happy I was able to catch her loveable chewing of his ear and his reaction.

Everyone should document their memories with photos. Whether its in a traditional or digital layout, pocket pages, project life, an album or photo box.  Photos help preserve our moments in life that we want to remember.  If I hadn't taken this photo, I probably wouldn't have remembered this happened.  Or been able to compare how little our pampered boxer was when we first got her.  Same with the photos of our grandchildren.  I have taken more photos since becoming a scrapbooker than when my kids were little.  I think of all the times we did things with our kids and didn't take photos.  All those memories lost to look back on and say, "Oh, I remember that day".

So, remember to take a few photos during the holidays and beyond.  {Of Christmas shopping, your traditions, cooking, opening presents, cleanup, kids excited faces, family, pets, LIFE}  Its always nice to look back throughout the year to see how much we've all grown/changed.
